About Us

Dedicated Educators

Saint Sophia Greek School began over 100 years ago at the original Cathedral location. There, Greek Americans would take their children to learn the Greek Language every day. Over the years the location of the school changed from the Cathedral, to a neighboring home because of the growth of the small community school and finally to the Frosene Center in the latter years. For over 50 years the Cathedral has also hosted Greek Language studies for Adults. The community continues to support the growth and success of the school to reach the goal of enlightening young and old minds alike on the beauty of the Greek culture, language and immense history.

REGISTRATION for Fall 2026 is open!

We accept registrations all year long!

Children 3 years of age by September 1, 2026 and up are welcome to join our Greek language & culture program every Saturday in person starting September 12, 2026, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Fall Classes start on September 12, 2026.

Tuition Rates: $825, with multiple child discount of $50 per additional learner.

Online Group Adult Language Classes

Classes are Online (synchronous)

Most classes are held on Saturdays; times for each level TBD.

Greek language courses are offered at multiple levels, from beginner to advance. If unsure of your level, a placement exam is required.

Tuition Rates: $700.00 for Fall & Spring Semester

$400.00 for either Fall or Spring

You can pay online at FaithDirect.net or in person by check.

Tuition/Payment: If you decide after payment that you are unable to join the class regularly or availability changed you will be given a full refund if the change is before the second class. No refunds after the second class. We will *not* hold a credit account for you to take the class at a later date. This includes one on one classes.
